Welcome to Irisadre

We make ceramics that breathe life into your meals and special moments.

Ceramics with soul, designed for gathering.

Our craft

All collections are created by master ceramicists, using age-old techniques that celebrate imperfection and texture. The glazes, the curves, the feel of raw clay all reflect our love for natural beauty and the rhythm of slow living.

Inspired by creative chefs and generous hosts, Irisadre is a meeting place between ceramic artistry and culinary imagination. Our forms are designed not just to serve food, but to hold meaning.

Our story

The roots of Irisadre are personal.

Hi I’m Rachel!

Born and raised in Swansea, South Wales, I learned early on that beauty lives in the simple act of gathering. Sundays were spent in my Nan’s home grown vegetable garden, making everything from scratch and using only the “good dishes” - it all planted the seeds of a lifelong love for food, craft, and connection.

From Food to Form

Years later, I co-founded The Vurger Co, a kitchen-table idea that grew into a multi-million-pound restaurant brand. That experience taught me the power of intention and how thoughtfully crafted food can shape culture. Now, through Irisadre, that journey comes full circle.

What does our name mean?

Irisadre is a nod to my roots, phonetically pronounced eye-ris-ad-reh, it’s a combination of my Nan’s name ‘Iris’ and ‘Adre’ meaning ‘homewards’ in Welsh.

We aim to be a reminder of what matters most: gathering, creating, and living beautifully.
